BLOOMINGTON, IL (Jul. 19, 2020) - On July 18th, 2020 during the match FC Diablos vs Indy City FC, Quadril Lawal was transported by paramedics to OSF Saint Joseph Medical Center Emergency Room after a hard challenge in the first half of the match.
Emergency personnel was able to return Quadrils ankle to the proper position. After further review, it was determined that he had a Bimalleolar Ankle Fracture. On the morning of July 19th, doctors successfully surgically intervened to place a plate and two screws to stabilize Quadril's ankle.
We would like to wish Quadril a speedy recovery and we will continue to monitor his recovery status.
